love the affordable smart plugs I've been using the Nooie smart plugs for a few years now. They are great! Simple to use, compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google home. I like to use them when abroad to simulate house activity, they even have a random one-off functionality to avoid a strict schedule should someone be actively watching your home.

Unreliable connection and camera Unreliable connection and camera. I experienced many issues with the device and it was a lengthy procedure to find a resolution with the customer service team. They wouldn't give me a refund, only a replacement, which is just as glitchy, so I'm having to buy a new monitor from a different company out of pocket in order to have a reliable view of my baby. The nooie customer service team asked that I leave a positive review in return for free cloud subscription, so beware of fake, orchestrated reviews.

They asked for 5 star reviews in… They asked for 5 star reviews in exchange for a free camera. Their smart plugs can be tricky to setup and sometimes simply do not respond.

The plugs are useless The plugs are useless. I have had 7 now that start clicking and do not switch on or off the electrical power. They have swapped them but this pair are out of warranty so I am now on the last one. They need to get their act together.

I bought 2 plugs a while ago, was a bit confusing to set up to start with, but when I got used to it, setting up was a breeze. I told my family about them, and my cousin bought some. Again, she struggled with the set up, but she also used the plugs hotspot to get them to work. Then my sister bought some. This time though she really struggled. At the time, I had also bought more. When I went to set them up, I couldn’t either. We both noticed that the plugs hotspot didn’t say smart life, and instead had Chinese writing. We tried web chat, but didn’t get a response. My sister emailed Nooie support and they replied straight away. They got her to try different things. I told her to tell them about the writing. They asked her to send a screen shot, and immediately said they would send her some more. They came quickly, and the new set worked straight away. I then emailed with the same problem. Chris replied straight away, and I sent the screen shots. I had a reply saying they would send new ones within 3-5 days. They arrived the next day. These worked straight away. I really can’t fault this company at all. The plugs are great and work with our google home. Amazing when we come in at night, in the pitch black, arms full carrying shopping and we ask google to turn the lights on. Chris was excellent, best customer service I’ve ever had.
