Great tool to learn a language with a real instructor! I love the site, it’s been invaluable in my language learning process, I find it to be really worth it personally. However, it could use some improvements with the functionality of the actual scheduling site. It’s a source of frustration for me.

Simply loving it! I've been using Rype for more than an year now, and I used it to improve my Russian and French abilities, to prepare for the Cambridge CAE Exam, and also to learn Mandarin from scratch. It's unbelievable how 30 minutes a day can make you progress in the long run. I really love the simple and practical platform, and the teachers are grat. Thank you Rype!

I was charged 115 dollars then a few… I was charged 115 dollars then a few days later was charged 295. I signed up to get one month free through jumpspeak and was charged the full price anyway. (295)I don't know what the 115 was for.I attempted to contact them twice through support email and have not received a response. They do not have a support phone number.

Beta Testing New App - Has Potential I'm beta testing their new app right now and it certainly has some potential. As it is in beta stage there are still kinks to work out (like how it will not accept my pronunciation of "Christina") but that's why we are beta testing this. The app itself has promise and I look forward to using it daily when it is completed. Another thing I am pleased with is the responsiveness when I have questions or concerns. This leads me to believe we should have a solid app soon.

Fraud stay away Buyer beware Rype is a total scam I canceled within the trial period and they refused to refund the amount of over $569.00. Don’t waste your time it’s not worth it you are not getting what you pay for with Rype. I used the service during the trail Rype still charged my credit card after I tried to cancel. They make it very difficult to cancel. Updated: I got a refund from my bank after I filed a dispute but not from Rype which has a ZERO refund policy. I tried the service and canceled I requested a refund from the company and Cynthia emailed me several times stating they couldn’t refund over $500. The instructions had very poor English skills and were very fluent in English therefore it was difficult to learn a new language. Rype isn’t a good company in my opinion. I tried to work with the company and they refused. They only offered a refund AFTER I posted a negative review.
