Took 2 minutes, literally, to correct what I had spent 4 hours on myself, the day before. Maybe rewrite the manual where the Reolink has to scan the phone QR code. I kept doing just the reverse. The manual is frustrating.

Excellent support / Product needs some updates Good morning Reolink Team, Victoria gave me a very good, high quality and professional support. I am extremely satisfied with the support I received from Victoria. The only issue I have is that you should update the NVR to link with the Google Home devices as well. This is something you should consider in the future firmware updates. Why I say this: Now I have to configure my Reolink cameras directly on my network switch, which was never the plan. The following are two drawback I have with my new Reolink cameras setup not being connected to the NVR: 1. If my network or internet is down, my NVR will not be able to connect to the Reolink cameras to keep recording. 2. My network is now running slower, due to the fact that the NVR and Reolink cameras must connect via the network or internet to keep recording. The above would not have been an issue if the Reolink NVR and Reolink cameras were directly connected together. Best Regards, Henry Williams

Excellent after sales service I purchased 2 outdoor cameras in 2021 from Reolink, they worked brilliantly, the app is free and reliable so saved my pennies and added 2 more. I recently had one which became faulty and subsequently stopped working. I messaged and received an immediate response from Aries who suggested many things to try but all failed. The camera was slightly over the guarantee but Tracy agreed a goodwill replacement, it arrived quickly and set up instantly. Super pleased with this level of service, its somewhat rare these days. A definate 5* company with excellent customer service staff

Remote access, using ethernet, using client app on MAC m1 airbook It all worked. Installing app on macbook air m1, went very smooth. Linking up with cameras over LAN ethernet was flawless. Accessing cameras remotely over wifi internet connection worked very well. My use model was to stricly use ethernet connection on cameras (no wifi). Worked very well. Would highly recommend this product

The detection rate is dull The detection rate sucks. Camera picks up after subject walks or moves away from camera does not collectively record when subjects in camera detection rate is about 5 feet. Must be within frame longer than 6 seconds..to catch a subject. Camera will record when the trees reflection off the windows. But not when someone walks right up to the door. Rings the door bell. And there is Noone stand at the door because the camera didn't click on. The viewing and night vision reaches dwell up to 80 feet.
