GBNew Workfront Geeks We purchased this tool at just about the same time our team was fed up with the current process we had for project management (excel spreadsheets). Users were able to adopt the product rather quickly and we have been tweaking the use of our instance since we launched. Overall, we have had a very smooth transition, just a couple of system bugs or workarounds we have experienced.

GBUI is a struggle for new users UI is a struggle for new users. The tool is designed for project managers, people who understand or who have had formal training in project management. The deal is, the majority of users aren't. They need a simplified version way to manage work, build out timelines, quickly update add remove tasks without have to thing about predecessors or task dependencies, etc.

GBGood stuff Workfront has a lot of great features and many ways to accomplish your company goals. That's a benefit but also can be a crutch when working with multiple people across many different states. The implementation process takes a while and the learning curve after implementation is quite large, so be sure to expect months before things run smoothly. Once it clicks for people, it's very intuitive and use becomes second nature.

GBNew to workfront Let me start off by saying that I'm very open minded about new software. I was hoping to leverage workfront as a project management tool and an IT-Help Desk work request tool. Three basic key elements, I was looking for in my review was: 1. Ease of use for user and admin 2. Easy to manage projects work and requests at a glance 3. Quick reporting tools to track project status/hours or work request status/hours Perhaps I need to play around with my customize views a little more or it’s just a software limitation, but coming from an IT Help Desk environment in my previous place that uses BMC Track-It and CRM software heavily, I find workfront has room to improve. Perhaps in the next version we can have information all displayed in one central screen and users can customize what they don't want to see.

GBTerrible product & definitely not enterprise ready Terrible product , incredibly hard to use. has an abundance of bugs. Task/Issue cards will disappear at random. Kanban boards are the worst in industry , free products are much much better.
