My Ooma service goes out frequently My Ooma service goes out frequently, which can be very frustrating. Just today, it went out again. I couldn't say how often it goes out, but would guess that it is at least once a month. The message quality is horrible, especially the voice quality of my greetings message. The voice quality of messages left for on the Ooma device is also poor. The best quality is on my computer and this is why I give Ooma two stars instead of one. I love the fact that Ooma messages show up on my computer and that I can listen to them there. I also have no complaints about quality of the call when I'm speaking with someone on the phone.

I ported my number to another provider… I ported my number to another provider and Ooma kept charging me for the non existing service. Thats their policy. Stay away from Ooma, they will rip you out.

Great Features and Mobile App We have had Ooma Office for a few years now and it has been a huge upgrade compared to our previous provider. We love being able to have a mobile app to dial out as our main office number from anywhere. We have the flexibility at our fingertips to transfer the phones to any number at any time. There are rare outages, but that would happen anywhere. I have, at times had trouble getting through to support after hours, but that is rare as well.

We've had Ooma for 11 years - now looking elsewhere. We've had Ooma for 11 years and mostly have had a positive eperience. The device has failed and even though I was able to order a new device with overnight delivery, I cannot install it under my existing account without calling in during weekday hours. That leaves the entire weekend without phone service even though I have a replacement device ready to go. Very poor service. They should have 24 hour service 7 days a week for this. The directions should be readily DIY with instructions on the website. Big disappointment. Will spend the weekend reviewing other providers.

Once Ooma Always Ooma Ooma is happy to sell you phones never telling you that even though you purchased the phones you don't actually own anything but a paperweight if you leave Ooma. Even if you bring your own phones their terms say that the phone can now only be provisioned to Ooma. So unless you have the capacity to manually provision phones NEVER USE OOMA!
