GBMisrepresentation of product Build listed my vanity as including a mirror. I contacted customer service to let them know I hadn't received it. After being on the phone for an hour, I was informed this was an error on their webpage but there would be no compensation or replacement item. No accountability. Will not use their service again.

GBI had an excellent experience with Johnny I had an excellent experience with Village Appliances in Port Chester, NY. Upon recommendation from our kitchen designer Lance at Leicht Westchester during our kitchen renovation, we spoke with Jimmy at Village Appliances. Jimmy's extensive knowledge about appliances made us feel confident in our choices, and we ended up purchasing a 36-inch Wolf cooktop, exhaust fan, Miele double ovens, Asko dishwasher, and OXO refrigerator—all of which have performed exceptionally well. The staff at Village Appliances were friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout the process. They kept us informed about delivery timelines and worked with us to coordinate deliveries with our cabinet schedule. Overall, our experience with Village Appliances was outstanding, and I will definitely be a repeat customer for any future appliance needs. Highly recommended.

GBPoor Service We ordered mirrors for a home we are building. We didn't open them until we were ready for installation, which happened to be 33 days after we received them. Two large mirrors that were $200 each were in one large box together with nothing to keep them stationary inside the box and both mirrors were broken. Because the order was over 36 days old and the return policy is 30 days, they would not less us return and did not even offer any sort of discount on additional purchases. Not to mention, we had only had the merchandise for 33 days.

GBA complete nightmare I ordered a vanity that takes 8-10 weeks to prepare and deliver. On week 10 they sent me the completely wrong product (a sink instead of a vanity). Customer service said that someone else probably got my vanity but they had no way of knowing who without them calling to tell them, and therefore couldn't correct the problem. The only thing they could do was order me a new vanity and wait another 8-10 weeks. Which of course, completely destroys the remodeling schedule. Just a complete nightmare. What kind of company sends out merch and has no clue where it went? Buy directly from the vendor you want and avoid this incompetent middleman. Besides, their prices are on the high side anyway. Never again!

GBTwo damaged Kohler toilets Two Kohler toilets ordered and both arrived damaged! Build.com was nothing but confusing afterwards. While it turned out to be not terribly difficult to arrange a refund, I realize it was because Kohler refunded them quickly. This means Kohler is the good company! There's other online retailers.
