GBunethical billing practice I used to be a drchrono customer but had moved on to a different EHR. When an old client requested records I contacted drchono and they agreed to let me access records in a read only format. I failed to read their lengthy contract fully and have ended up paying for 18 months of access ($900) despite only needing one client record. Although their actions may be legal they are unethical and I want to warn other clinicians about them.

GBAVOID THIS EMR AT ALL COST!!!!!! My entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE! Firstly, I was never fully trained from day one, it has never been fully implemented. I have limped along for way too long before giving up and firing them! Secondly, I'm having the same issues as everyone else, reach out for an issue, get the first response saying they will fix it, then ZERO follow up. Thirdly, I am in the termination process and they keep restricting my ability to send/correct claims for my final wrap up. By dragging their feet they continue to collect my month to month fee, instead of allowing me to complete my termination process. Lastly, even though I followed the correct termination process and timeline, they tried to auto-renew me for another year! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM, It is an AWFUL company! BUYER BEWARE!!!

GBNew Dermatology Practice In starting my practice, I did several EMR demos. Dr Chrono was by far the easiest to navigate, customize, and understand. The support staff has been extremely responsive, and I've never felt like the system lacked for anything. My billing team likes the interface for their services as well. Best of all, the price point is difficult to beat. I feel that going with Dr Chrono was the single best decision in starting my new practice and I have already recommended many of my dermatology colleagues to their program.

GBAweful Aweful - I've now had 3 patients double charged for billing due to an issue with their system. Worst part is the company has no idea how to fix it. Huge issue and patients tend to get very upset when you over charge them - becoming ex-patients who leave nasty online reviews. I now know of several other providers who have also had a lot of issues with the ckmpany. DON'T use this EMR.

GBScammed In early 2019 we were scammed into paying for a year of DrChrono for a little over $2,000. We were left in the cold during implementation and the manager stopped returning our calls. We finally had enough and asked for a refund as it wasn't going to work for us. We were declined our refund and they deactivated our access after we told them we weren't going to use an EHR that wasn't fully up and running for us (nor met our needs). I've since heard this same story for many practices in my area that gave DrChrono a shot. Beware and move on to the next EHR.
