GBFalse and Misleading Pricing We went to buy a Dish Washer at LOW's today. Many of them are on sale. The Sale Tag shows the price BEFORE, the discount and the current price. Below that it says "Delivery AND Installation $149/-." I agreed. But to be sure, I casually mentioned to the sales agent if the price includes hauling out the old machine? He said no and added that I have to pay also for the parts AND hauling out the old machine. Otherwise, "the warranty will be invalid if you use the old parts!" That added about another $100. So, the machine that is advertized for $790 ended up at $1040/-. To me, that was a false advertisement. It was misleading and misinforming the customer to the point of no return to some, but not me. I walked away. I will hand them back their store credit card and take my business somewhere else. Thank God for capitalism and free market. A "Better" way is to price it at $1040 and reduce the price if the customer chooses the options of delivery and installation. Sneaking them in is unethical.

GBI have shopped at Lowes for decades and… I have shopped at Lowes for decades and mostly had a positive experience. They honor the military with parking spaces, and offer a 10% discount. Now the check-out cashiers are gone, replaced by self-checkout. The military discount card is void, and now you give your phone number and driver's license which causes more inconvenience, plus the discount is not for all goods, just a select few. What does that mean? They will eventually stop the discounts. I left a bit frustrated, I do not want to check out myself! Lowes had lost a customer. I will support a boycott.

GBWon't honor marked prices This is the third time I have caught them charging more than what their shelf price or ad has posted. Each time they give a great, "Too bad" I literally took a picture of a sign saying $6 in the middle of 3 shelves of weed killer, that they rung up for $20

GBIs zero stars an option? Never, ever, ever buy flooring from Lowes. This review is for the Carlsbad CA store. I have called at least 25 times (no exaggeration) for various issues and have NEVER gotten a call back. After being ping-ponged I finally get someone live, leave a message, and never hear back. Their flooring installers, Keller Interiors, is all but incompetent. Horrible installation job, now I'm trying to get warranty support and can't get anyone to help. BBB is my next step. BTW, purchased carpet from Home Depot after this horrifying experience, and it was a completely different (and great!) experience.

GBDo not buy Lowes extended warrantys I bought an extended warranty on a product and the manager of the store told me it kicks in at the end of the manufactures warranty. I tried to file a claim after the manufactures warranty and was told that it expired. Arguing with Lowe’s did no good. Do not buy extended warranty’s from Lowe’s they do not know what extended means
