GBDO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM Re Astro a50 Headset These look the part but once warranty is done they break and customer services won't help you.. Now if these were cheap I'd understand, but they are top end pricing £320 in UK.. 13 months wear is insufficient and I believe breaches consumer regulations. Seriously considering a small court claim against them. The issue I've had is they decide too charge depending what mood its in.. I've done all the firmware updates and resets. Still does it.. they hardly got used for first six months. If you look on you tube the problems.are all over there.. unfortunately all reviews are set in stone by them so you can't update and tell the real story. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT PURCHASE. PRODUCTS POOR AND CUSTOMER SERVICES IS WORSE.

GBStay away from astro and the A50 gen 4 One of the most expensive headsets around, and yet poor build quality. Iv had nothing but issues with these headsets,iv gone through 3 different ones, with real bad costumer services, and people are right, nothing but an expensive paper weight. Now the base station is not working, got in contact with astro, and because its out of warranty, they won't touch, They trest there costumers like crap, as if they are stupid. Yes very comfortable headset till it falls apart. Astro are a con. You pay hard earn Money, for a expensive headset, to just fall apart, first problem 4 months after buying brand new,second problem, 8 months, third problem, 16 months, new problem, yesterday, but because out of warranty won't touch, so have to sort myself. PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT BUY,DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

DKKnowingly selling faulty headsets.. Having been happy with my astro a50 gen 1 i purchased the latest a50' but unfortunately its been horrid experience. When placing the headset in the base station a number of things can happen, but rarely what you would expect, i.e. the charge indicator lighting up and the headset charging. Often what will happen is that the headset light flickers and something goes wrong resulting in the headset thinking it has no charge or over 100% charge. There seems to be no real fix for this and having looked into past reviews its been an issue for several years which is probably the most disappointing thing. Sad to see such a big brand fail to resolve the issue and keep seeling faulty premium products for years..

AUDodgy manufacturing can cost you $$$$ I got an astro a40 a few years ago, i treated it like glass because of the price and it literally fell appart in my hands. Years layer I was convinced by other people to get the a50 as everyone said they are much better now. Not even 8 months of having it i moved it and the cable snapped the usb port out of the back of the dock. I will never ever under any circumstances use an astro product again or tell some one its worth it coz it sure as hell isnt.

GBAVOID! AVOID!! Awful, please don't order from Astro. Ordered a controller 3 weeks ago now, the order is still in process. Customer service is slow at responding, when they have responded they've provided no tracking and haven't even stated that the order has been dispatched. Can't cancel the order, apparently have to refuse delivery. Wish i'd never have ordered from them now and checked here first! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
