Ridiculous Shipping! - Cost More Than The Cake! Folks, I googled this bakery and set up an account because I was looking for my favorite cake for Christmas - A Black Forest Cake w/ cherries, etc. I was excited to place my order for the $48.00 cake, but, I was absolutely SHOCKED at the $54.00 shipping charge!!!......$54.00 to ship a cake to Virginia??...........Are you kidding?......That is more than what the cake cost!! Luckily, I did not hit the "continue" button for the order, but having a "first-time" customer gouged with a ridiculous $54.00 shipping charge for a $48.00 cake is NOT a good first impression....... I will NEVER use this rip-off site and I do NOT recommend it for anyone else either!!

Would Not Recommend I placed an order for a cake to be delivered two days later. The site claims that they will send you a tracking number for your order. The cake should have arrived today; however, I have not received the order or a tracking number. I called their 800 number and the lady who answered claimed that she would check with the bakery to see what the issue was, but she never called back. Do not order from this company if you want the item to arrive in time for a special day. I noticed that their reviews on Facebook are very similar to my experience. It makes me question the legitimacy of some of these reviews.

Sooo good! Sooo good! Purchased this for my mom's birthday, she's diabetic. We loved it! the only thing strange is it doesn't really have a gram cracker crust or anything, but still tastes great! Shipping was efficient and timely. Will order again for other occasions.

Only half the order was shipped Only half the order was shipped, making the whole order useless. 1-800-Bakery did try to accommodate the mistake, however, I had ordered the shipment for use on Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving had come and gone by the time the mistake was adjusted.

i ordered something to be delivered on… i ordered something to be delivered on a specific date, it was apparently a work holiday, but no notification was given that it would not be delivered on time. they assumed the next business day would be fine, but it was not. i had to call and reschedule delivery. still have not gotten a confirmation email of the delivery date change
