Great, quick service New York Grocery is a fast go-to service for our office needs on a weekly basis. Their turnaround on delivery times are prompt and expeditious. However, sometimes their products selections are limited and fresh produce are sparse. At times, when fresh fruit is delivered, it doesn't always come as pictured - our last batch of pears and bananas were a tad rotten and seemed bruised from transit.

Plus and Minus Got a call to change several items from my order which I found to be wonderful. Most places either simply substitute or cut those out of the order. Delivery was prompt. However, the pictures of the salami we bought was a full salami, but what arrived was a package of slices. Might be a great addition to the NYC late night ordering scene if they deliver what they show - - even if everything is a bit on the high side. It was after 10 pm when we made the order, one should expect to have to pay premium.

Effecient, helpful, prompt, cost effiective This is a great service for someone visiting in New York; as we have an apartment rented, we need groceries but don't really want to spend time shopping for them. This service had a great range of products to make our stay more home like, leaving us with plenty more time to explore the great city of New York,

A few times I have received… A few times I have received substitutions I didn't like, such as Baked Lays not real Lays, $3 creamy ranch when I ordered $7 Maries salad dressing, ranch dip not onion, chocolate cookies not peanut butter....so use their write-in section to specify if you're picky! Sometimes they call to okay subs, but not always

Saved the Day! I went searching for a grocery delivery place because I was feeling very sick this morning. I had no energy to get dressed and run downstairs to the Duane Reade next to my building. I checked delivery.com for grocery stores and a few other websites but no one offered the selection that newyorkgrocery offers. I found medication and some food and it was delivered very promptly. I was also very happy to see different payment options than a credit card - COD and Paypal. They also called me within minutes of placing my order letting me know one item was out of stock but they were able to replace it with another product of the same quality. I will definitely use newyorkgrocery again!
