GBWinebid is NOT so Good My experiences have NOT been good with Winebid. First, I thought they had a ridiculously high 17% premium fee and you can get lower fees on other auction sites. Second, the shipping was very excessive compared to others. Thirdly, not having exposure to the others bidding (like a in person wine auction), makes me think there are underhanded things going on the maximize on their profits. Lastly, I've gotten wine that may have been fakes and they can NOT guarantee their authenticity. I will not be a returning customer.

GBBid and bought a Justin Isosceles… Bid and bought a Justin Isosceles Reserve from them. They charged me for it but never sent the wine. When asked no response was given. I paid for the wine but never received it. I would never buy wine from this site. Besides you are actually getting gouged. There are much better sites to buy wine from, including older wines.

GBNever again The worst customer service and treatment in any wine shopping experience I've had. I have since closed my account. Unreliable and untrustworthy behavior in dealing with me, which makes me question the trustworthiness of their wines especially given current scandals about fake wine in the news. Shoddy customer service. Simply terrible. Also, when you factor in all their charges, the wines are overpriced.

GBPoor customer service More of a FedEx problem than a Winebid problem however had i known they would be shipping via FedEx I'd have made different arrangements. For wine deliveries I use a UPS address as I'm rarely at home to accept shipments. I paid to have the wine shipped and upon arriving in Portland FedEx returned it to Winebid in Napa without using the phone number in my FedEx profile to contact me. I just called Winebid and the CS person that I'll have to pay again to have the wine shipped, offered no other solution I'll probably just let the wine stay there and be done with it. edit: I later called the shipping arm of Winebid and they listened to and understood my problem. They also agreed to re-ship the wine at no further expense to me. Having said all this I cannot recommend buying wine through Winebid. It might look like a bargain but it's not...it's expensive. Plus many reviews speak of having been sold fake wine. Sadly this is a big issue these days. I know this because I'm in the business of selling fine wine. Buy locally or from a distributor, forget the middle man.

GBRock Solid Costumer Services I have been buying a lot from them for over a year already, 99% of the bottles have arrived in perfect conditions and as described. I think they have amazing capabilities and features like, high resolution photos for each bottle, accurate descriptions, and professional scores with notes, value and sales prices history. You can sort your searches by scores, popularity, do a price range, country, regions, style, you named it. But what I’m more impress with is their costumer services. I have interacted with a couple of people there and they always find the way to help, my favorite contact is Debbie, so far there has been NOTHING that she can’t fix, she has always made it right even in the most strangest situation created by myself (errors).
