GBSigned up for the United bonus offer… Signed up for the United bonus offer while abroad. As I read the fine print, I knew to cancel the membership as soon as my first order was processed. I emailed them to delay the shipment for my order as I wouldn’t be back in the country to sign for the alcohol, which was processed without a problem. I received my first order but before I knew it, I was charged over $175 for the “next” order, which I very intentionally made sure not to have on auto-renewal as I know of these common scam practices by subscription companies. I emailed customer service and was helped by Brian Ferrer, who said that he could not cancel my order as it has to be done prior to processing. I told him I had cancelled weeks before and he said he couldn’t find proof of that in emails despite me providing the cancellation confirmation number, which proves that either Brian doesn’t want to take the 30 seconds to look into their records for the confirmation number or that they don’t keep records and that the cancellation page is bogus. Either way, I’ll be filing a chargeback and reporting to the BBB if not processed by EOD.

GBAwful customer service! Terrible, STAY AWAY!! Awful customer service!! Once they have your credit card on file, although you may have cancelled membership or put it on pause, they WILL ship the un-ordered order and charge your card without prior consent...also, if you dispute and want to return unopened shipment or just plainly cancel they WILL CHARGE you a restocking fee of 20% and a shipping back fee of approximately $22.00 for 6 bottles or 35.00 for 12 bottles....totally unnecessary punishment!! Stay away and avoid by all costs.

GBREAD THE FINE PRINT...Terms and… I am updating my original review as I was very fortunate to have the assistance of Amanda (from Marketing) on my billing issue. She reached out to me after discovering that I was having issues and was beyond pleasant and willing to troubleshoot my billing issue. Amanda fully resolved my issue and I am 100% satisfied. The first bottle of the Vinesse red wine that I opened was very enjoyable. Thank you, Amanda, for your efforts. You are a very valuable part of Vinesse, in my opinion! READ THE FINE PRINT...Terms and Conditions...I am working with my credit card company now because of their deceptive marketing through their marketing partners.

GBSelected to delay my next shipment… Selected to delay my next shipment since it was less than 3 weeks from my last shipment of wine. Got confirmation on the website I was able to delay shipment from November until December. Order still shipped and I was charged. Called customer service, they stated there was nothing they could do I could pay to have it shipped back and get store credit for the price of the wine. Cancelled membership, lack of variety in shipments is not worth the price

GBThanks Melani I had mixed thoughts on Vinesse - until today! Melani completely changed this and made me have a wonderful customer experience. I say "mixed" because I loved my first order from Vinesse, but did not like the 2nd order. Melani was so friendly - I actually chatted with her on the online chat and then spoke to her when I called. She made this go from a "mixed/on the fence" experience to a great one. I will definitely be ordering from Vinesse again - especially that she saved so many notes about my wine preferences. Thanks Melani!
