GBIncorrect shipping policy and long waits for service I ordered a pair of sandals with expedited shipping, and 3 days later, checked the order and it hadn't shipped. I tried online chat and it was not working. So after a 30 minute hold on the phone, i spoke to a customer service rep who told me that the shoes are not going to be shipped expedited because of some issue with the warehouse or location. Why I had to call to find this out is unacceptable service for the year 2024, for shoes that cost $150+. I cancelled the order altogether since the shoes wont arrive in time for my trip, and I will have to seek out a different brand. The rep I spoke to was nice, but the organization itself needs a lot of work.

GBI just spent $136 for shoes I don't like I just spent $136 for shoes I cannot return because they were on sale. They don't support me well, but I'm stuck with them. The $47 Clark's loafers I bought from JCPenney are more supportive than these shoes. I'm really unhappy with kuru. UPDATE: I was permitted to return the shoes, after raising a fuss. That's exhausting. And if the pollicy is no returns, why doesn't it say that IN BOLD LETTERS SO PEOPLE KNOW THAT BEFORE HAND!
Disappointed
GBAbsolutely awful experience Absolutely awful experience. First off, they employ deceptive tricks to get you to purchase their shipping insurance product. It was preselected to opt out rather than opt in and was in no way apparent that the selection was preselected. The cost was only $6 but it feels very unethical the way they handle it. If they feel like it is such a benefit to customers than build it into your price or make it opt in only and you’ll see how few customers truly value this option. Second, it wasn’t until several days after my order was placed did they tell me my selection was unavailable leaving me to scramble for an alternative. Very unsatisfied with this company.

GBI bought a pair of Quest boots from… I bought a pair of Quest boots from Kuru about two years ago. The stitching on the uppers failed about the third time I wore them. The company sent me new pair under the warranty and told me to keep the first pair. I repaired the stitching myself an saved the second pair for later use. Eventually after about 6 months the stitching in the first pair failed completely although there was no discernible wear to the soles. I started wearing the second pair and within about 6 months or so the stitching started to fail again eventually completely. These boots were not inexpensive but they are of extremely poor quality. Camilla at Kuru could do nothing to make this right. I have a pair of American made hiking boots that I have had for twenty years . The soles are badly worn but not a single stitch has failed. These, unfortunately are of cheap Chinese construction.

GBWon't contact you back?! Have gone WAY downhill! Their change to the shoe design unfortunately made the Roam shoes go from fitting me perfectly to NOT AT ALL. They're just for wide feet now & are super awkward. But the main thing is that despite them saying they have free returns & exchanges, it took a few day to get an email with an RMA. BUT, they didn't even bother to attach a shipping label (which their site seems to indicate they'll do) or to include a return address so I could ship it on my own. It's been 6 days now since I've emailed them multiple times and tried to chat with them during live hours and I have gotten NO RESPONSE!
