GBThis service really sucks This service really sucks. Worked for a while, then I got all kinds of error messages. I contacted their customer service. They first offered simple, after that more complicated, suggestions. Their latest one was almost as bad as disassembling my computer and laying out all the components on the table. I could no longer access my account. I emailed them and asked to cancel my subscription They replied asking for a lot of details i could no longer access. Warning---stay away from them, they are crooks!

GB60 days before we end your subscription You decided to give many of your customers 60 days notice before you delete their data. Giving them the choice of moving to a more expensive plan, move to a different company (with no info if you can transfer back ups) or lose their data. And no options to people with more than 5TB of data backed up and to top it off your support is terrible and slow and your back ups are slow too. I had started recommending you to people (which takes me a long time to do with software) and you have basically given a middle finger to your consumer customers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IF THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT CONSUMERS IMAGINE WHAT THEY WILL DO TO ENTERPRISE

GBPoor support The worst part about Crashplan is they have no way to contact them via telephone. Support is handled through a ticketing process and they are slow to respond. I closed an account in 2023 and they continue to bill every month for it.

AESupport is completely absent Support is completely absent. Backups are not even starting. They are hiding basic information, you can not backup any important system folder or file like sql database and they are not telling it anywhere on their website. Yet they call it business backup. Subscription cancellation way is terribly hidden, you wont reach their easily and it wont work unless u repeat it two three times. Its a trick to charge you over and over with no refund policy.

GBAS everyone else has said. Bad company with worse tech support. Server stopped connecting to their servers and they would take no steps in helping us remediate. Clearly their servers refusing the connection but they do not care. Horrible company with horrible tech support. The reality is this is a consumer based product and you are better off not deploying in your enterprise.
