Horrible customer service Horrible customer service. Received delivery confirmation and within 4 hours I reported knife not recd. Was told to give it a few more hours. After sending another email to Seido was told to take it up with USPS. I did purchase delivery insurance although this doesn’t seem to matter. Would not recommend ordering online

Horrible Product, Overpriced Cheap Chinese Crap I bought the Hanikamu VG10 Damascus Chef Knife Set as a gift for my husband. After receiving a shipping notification and arrival date, the package was delayed for over a week and appeared to be lost. Support was responsive and promised to resend the knives but the original order arrived a few days later. Once received, the set was attractive and well packaged. That's as far as anything positive goes. With MINIMAL use and hand washing, 5 of the knives have lost pieces of mosaic from the handles. As another review mentioned, THE FORGING PATTERN IS FAKE, and even the Seido logo is wearing off because the blades are so cheaply made. To be fair, I have been sent replacements for the damaged handles, but the quality is so awful buying from Seido is a complete ripoff. Don't do it!

Quality products with excellent customer service saves the day WE recently purchased directly from Seido Knives two very nice knives on sale. One of them, Kiritsuke Damascus Chef Knife, arrived in perfect condition, very beautiful. WE used our chef knife in preparation for Christmas dinner and it sliced through sweet potatoes with incredible ease-like butter. We received a lot of comments on its beauty as well . The second knife, Nikuya Butcher Knife, arrived with several imperfections in the handle. Their customer service to rectify the matter was beyond exceptional. They shipped a new knife out to us promptly. It was in perfect condition and cuts razor sharp. In an effort at standing by their products and insuring customer satisfaction, they invited us to keep the first product. We are very pleased with the outcome and recommend them to you.

Bought a shears which said Japanese… Bought a shears which said Japanese steel but the box says made in China be very careful ordering from them. There's a 20% restocking fee plus you have to pay for shipping. They're a scam. You can't write reviews on their website

I have wanted a good set of knives and…Ex I have wanted a good set of knives and I came across these knives. My husband owns a Japanese knife for over 40 years and only sharpened it once. So I decided to give it a try. The best investment I made. I love these knives. I now have a knife set for life. I would recommend these knives to anyone who wants a good set. Also, they are beautiful to look at and also to handle.
