CAThoughtfully designed hybrid bag I was looking for a surprise birthday present for my husband and liked the look of the Cary double briefcase. Customer support was excellent and they even extended the 30 day refund policy to 60 days for me in case my husband changed his mind and wanted a refund/exchange. The bag did not disappoint! The materials were high quality, the stitching exact, and the pockets and magnetic closures so thoughtfully designed. The leather had a beautiful patina and the zipper pulls had a nice brushed metal finish. My husband loved the bag! The price was on the higher end, but the quality of the bag lived up to expectation and I can see this it holding up to many years of use.

GBCan’t go wrong with the Cary and Monaco I own both the Cary and Monaco bags and couldn’t be happier with how they’ve held up since purchasing them over three years ago. It’s a testament to the quality of the materials and construction that they hardly look worse for wear—if anything, the leather handles have softened and make it more comfortable to carry. What’s more, the sharp, clever internal features really put S&L above its peers, imo.

GBProfessional and sleek I have had various S&L products over the years. My favorite is the black backpack bc it's sporty and professional with the right amounts of pockets and storage. Sleek and professional without being a "Tumi warrior". Craftsmanship in all products is top notch!

CHDisappointing design, manufacturing and warranty policy I pre-ordered and received my Tokyo Edition briefcase back in January. After a week of light use, both T started peeling off from the logo. The bag now looks totally ridiculous. I would remove the logo altogether, but it is injected in the fabric, therefore the result would be worse. The answer from their support when I brought up the issue: "While very rare, this kind of damage can occur where the letters are rubbed or scraped off with enough pressure. There are natural limitations to how much abrasion the lettering can withstand, of course. When this happens, we do kindly ask all customers to understand that fair wear & tear can happen with daily use of any bag, and this is not a defect covered by our warranty." A premium product that shows "fair wear & tear" after a week of light use is not worth more than 2 stars in my opinion.

DKDuties and taxes are not included in the final price So pissed by your deceptive business practices. How come you failed to inform before the check-out that: "For customers in Europe, we specifically wish to mention that we fulfill orders from outside the borders of the European Union & UK. All orders into Europe will incur import duties, which are payable by the customer prior to delivery." and that "Wherein a customer chooses not to pay duties or rejects their shipment, please note that the package will be abandoned by the carrier and Stuart & Lau cannot offer a refund." I purchased a backpack for 1000 kr. and now I am expected to pay 600 kr. in customs fees. How do you justify this rip-off?
