I should have seen these reviews before my purchase. From their website it looks like a company that cares about its product and its customers. However, that is simply a mirage. They proclaim that real wood is used. What they don’t tell you is they put plastic in the wood. The company produces an inferior product at a premium price and provides terrible customer service. You can't get a straight answer from them over the phone. They sell you the product that they want to sell you, not the item that you wanted to purchase. When you contact them to resolve the problem, they do not timely or substantively respond. They do not honor their return policy and couldn't care less about their customers. They are quite arrogant, obnoxious oafs who think they are better than their customers. They shipped me the wrong item and expect me to pay to return it. They have no interest in trying to right their wrongs and are quite arrogant in their treatment of their customers.

I wanted some additional parts... called in and got super friendly service. They looked up my original order to make sure I got correct parts to match my original order finish. Heavy duty quality on the parts and the online video instructions were so easy to follow. Artisan Hardware is "top shelf" product!

Artisan has tackled my most custom… Artisan has tackled my most custom jobs. Each of these are a case study in difficult application or an impossible finish. They executed and doing the impossible has bumps in the road. They smooth out the bumps and take my tough jobs to the finish line. They deserve the 5 star General in my book. Tom Krueger

Barn door hardware Service is top notch. I called to get some technical details before I placed my order and they were very knowledgeable about their product. I was actually surprised how much technical knowledge the rep had, because my questions were very specific. Kudos to great customer service. You just can't find that anymore. My order arrived to the exact specs that I ordered and worked perfectly.

Instructions weren’t complete I purchased non pre-drilled rail. I had solid backing so could drill holes anywhere. I used all of the lags and bushings supplies but once installed the soft close hardware wouldn’t work. The bolts were closer than required for hardware to work. Nothing in the instructions mentioned anything about minimum bolt spacing (they admitted that). Company did offer to replace bar or refund soft-close hardware but I would have had to repair and repaint holes/wall. I chose not to use soft-close hardware. Could have been avoided with better instructions.
