Rubbish machine We wanted to refresh carpets in our house. Totally rubbish machine. Unable to purchase 4l of formula, as not available in 3 different locations. Waste of the money and most importantly time! How this company can survive with these poor reviews is beyond me.

Easy to book and use Easy to book and collect from my local Asda. Very straightforward to use and has cleaned our carpets very well. Only issue we had was the machine was dirty when collected with dirty water still inside it. I had to spend half an hour cleaning it before being able to take inside my house. It’s quite heavy so if you’re not feeling strong take someone with you if renting it from somewhere to help you get it out of the locker and into your car.

Hire machine heavy, hard to manoeuvre and unsuited to domestic uses Carpets cleaned ok but poor suction on the main machine meant I needed to use the hand tool to vacuum up moisture over the whole carpet. The main machine is also very heavy, unwieldy and impossible to manoeuvre in small rooms. The professional hire machine is poorly suited to domestic situations.

Ordered online Did a good clean -Bad experience from… Ordered online -Bad experience from shops . Yes it’s heavy ,have a spare towel at hand take your time using and reading instructions . Did a good job cleaning.Couldn’t remove all water from unit before returning .Sales people and delivery driver were very helpful

Excellent machine Unlike the other reviews ,we rented a Rug-Doctor to be delivered which was a nightmare WOULD NOT RECOMMEND that ,as delivery company a nightmare ,I'd say get it from the shop ..yes they are cumbersome( it's an industrial machine and powerfull if used properly ) ,yes they don't have a big tank ,yes sometimes they don't have the shampoo availablein store as there busy , BUT it did a fantastic job of carpets I must say didn't look that dirty ,but the filth was embarrassing frankly .. The suction very good ..I think where people are going wrong is there dragging it too quickly ,and maybe not spot treating troublesome areas? ( Maybe rug doctor should add this to there paperwork of instructions ) it took a few runs to get used to it ..but overall very good ..we had trouble with delivery van and complained o Rug-Doctor several times and was promised a refund of £20 delivery which has not appeared in bank ( has now THANK YOU ...YET the customer service were very helpful top marks apart from refund which i will contact them about again .would Def recommend but be patient and remember it's not a domestic machine ..
