2 men arrived at my home too soon and charged me for equipment I didn't order 2 men arrived at my home at 8am, and said they weren't able to see my request for them to come close to 9am. During the install, the experienced installer didn't provide me with the costs upfront until after he installed my panel. Then he charged me for a key fob I didn't order. When I pointed this out, he said most people order the key fob he sold me, and he made a mistake. He said the payment was already completed, and to reverse it would take several phone calls, so I just agreed to pay for it.

Great team Darryl Bailey and Breland Johnson were awesome! I have never had sales people with so much enthusiasm. They explained everything from install to payment and billing. Kaden, the tech came out the next morning for the install. With all of the commotion from the kids (day care), he did an excellent job. Thank you all

Existing vs New System Cost I had an existing by older and non-active ADT system in the house. While I went ahead and got an expensive new system. The service person never really explained the total cost up front for the new system verses the option of repair and re-activation of the older system. frankly after see the new one I question if the older one was better. the total cost was never explained until after it was installed. So the process seemed a bit like a railroad job frankly. The new system seems to meet my need but it was expensive and I'm left wondering if there was a cheaper path for me.

Bad experience. I'm regretted to sign this contract now. I wanted to get things started on 5/15, which is the day my current plan ends. Jason Scott did not explain things well to me and it is indeed the billing cycle starts on 5/15, I'm still being charged since 5/4.Also Jason Scott promised that he would help me install a door camera and left his number on a piece of paper so I can call him when the camera is ready, but after he left I could not find the number anymore. it's reasonable to assume he took it away when he left. Anyway, I installed it myself. You guys are just trying to trick the customer into signing the contract in whatever way possible. I will definitely not recommend ADT with other friends.

Be careful - they are a bit deceptive Installation and technician were great !! I am disappointed by the amount of attempted up-selling and the deceptive nature of their advertising flyers. Unless you read it carefully you will assume that you are getting coverage for 15 windows and doors in the package. Not so !! You get a couple because like me you may have missed how they stressed pre-wired sensors. They give you like 2 wireless contacts and then charge $139 each for the other 13 that are not in the package. If you want the phone ap, well that's another $20 a month. Then I just found their $100 gift card form - guess what - they outsourced this and you have to send a $5 money order to them to get the $100 that ADT promised. Really nice, huh? Their business is based upon trust - they have certainly not earned that. We'll see what happens in 2 years after the contract expires.
