GBDON’T TALK W/CUST SVC - CALL BRINKS CORP RESPONSE If you ever have a problem with Brinks customer service (WHICH I ALWAYS DO) call the Brinks Corporate Response dept. I spoke with an employee with cust svc and tried to explain that my current statement was showing one amount and my current balance was showing double. She just kept responding that the amount due was the double amount. So I asked for a supervisor (on the phone now for 58 minutes). He was just as ignorant. So I called the corporate response dept and spoke with Samuel who was patient, polite and went above and beyond to help me. Samuel resolved my issue and after I hung up I checked my account on line and it was displaying the correct amount. Samuel is a gem and brought me back to a calm and happy person. 😀

GBI purchased a genuine Brinks Keyfob! I purchased a genuine Brinks Keyfob for my Brinks security system. And installed a new sensor to my front door. I and the technician used a video connection through my iPhone to accomplish a considerable amount of tasks, considering my partial disability. The technician was patient and well-informed with the assistance I was able to manage. Now if we can only do something about these intermittent brown-outs ….

GBI switched from ADT to Brinks I switched from ADT to Brinks, because I had the worst experience with ADT (a story for another review). The Brinks salesperson Chevon was excellent. He was very professional, kind and took the time to walk through my extensive equipment and contract questions. My only complaint: I was contacted by Brinks after filling out online form on one of their landing pages. I received a call within a few minutes. The only thing that bothered me during the sign up process is the lack of company credentials in the employees email signatures. I did my own due diligence and verified that the people I communicated with actually worked for the company. I work in affiliate marketing, so I am always cautious of online and third-party scams. I would expect a company the size of Brinks to ensure their employees have consistent branded company email signatures set up. It’s an important aspect of building and maintaining brand trust. I’ll update my review in 6 months regarding the equipment and services.

GBDon't use Brinks - Deceptive business practices Don't use Brinks! Substandard support. Deceptive business practices. IF you cancel, they require 30 days' notice to cancel. I sent a cancelling letter January then I am being billed January - Feb.! So, if you cancel in January, they will be charge for February as well. They try to offer deals for continued service but while you're thinking about it you will be charged for that month and 30 days ahead. I got locked in a contract for at least 36 mos with me not even using the service. The only reason they contacted me is because I had to change my checking account number then Brinks wasn't getting their payment. Don't get locked in an agreement from a previous owner requiring subscribing to service for months. This should be illegal. CANCEL then renegotiate your own contract. READ your current contract. If new owner inheriting an existing contract - cancel! I shouldn't be held liable for previous contacts. This company is looking like one of those Home Warranty companies where you pay for everything and get nothing! Good Luck!

GBOmg it's a great security system Omg it's a great security system. It's so good I can't even get away with nothing. I was doing something I wasn't suppose one night with it and then darn bright lights hit me right in the eye and of course I got caught coming in past my time...😉 But the system didn't have no problem shutting me down. I love it
