Worst experience ever! Vector Corporate refuses to let me out of my contract despite me being relocated for work to a place they DO NOT cover. Plus they are taking the equipment out of the house, so what am I still paying for? Just don't do it and call ADT. I thought working with a smaller local company would have benefits as I like to support the local business however, in this case I wish I would have just called a real organization. Stay away at all costs unless you know you will never leave your house under any situation.

20 Years Experience I have been a customer of vector security for over 20 years. I pay in full every year my service contract. For the most part the system has been reliable. But, whenever there is an issue or problem it takes sometimes several weeks to get a technician who knows what they are doing to come to our home. I also have an ADT system at another location. They typically respond faster. Just be aware these vendors are quick to take your money, but very slow when you need them for repairs.

Biggest Mistake of Home Purchase was This Alarm System I purchased a home 2 years ago and it was the best decision of my life. The worst decision of my home purchase was signing this 3 year agreement. The camera system is terrible, it is continually getting fixed. The cameras allow you to set limits on recording and how much movement and or not it catches and starts recording. It all is terrible. I have set these limits, walked through them with customer service and took their recommendations. I still have hundreds of recordings a day, reach my monthly quota and then they stop recording. Save yourself and go with Nest or ADT or any other service. I feel like I was ripped off.

Made it right I previously left a review and gave them 1 star. The sales rep was out to my home today and is satisfactorily resolving all issues and concerns. I am happy with the system and utilize it remotely. Really like the Wi-Fi thermostat.

Only giving one star because I can't… Only giving one star because I can't click zero. I never recalled signing a 60 month contract. I was provided with the alleged contract that i signed. Its definitely not my signature. I told the dealer THE DAY I SIGNED UP FOR SERVICE that i would be moving. He assured me with military orders it would be no problem to cancel. He never said i would either have to sell my house or pay over $2300 for a service contract that was binding for 60 months. If this was the business model from the start, good luck with future military customers and competing in todays market with other security companies.
