Rentokil is allegedly a big and… Rentokil is allegedly a big and efficient company offering termite control. Its website is full of glowing customer reviews but I have had a terrible experience. I had a rentokil termite inspection 6 months ago only to find I have a major termite infestation. When I called to arrange an urgent visit I was told by the call center person that I would hear from a consultant. After 6 hours of no call back I called again and was told by another phone person that they would email the consultant. The next morning still no reply. I called again and was told after making a big fuss that this phone person would investigate only to be told that the consultant they were allegedly contacting was on leave although none of the call center people knew this! I wasted 24 hours with this nonsense. Terrible customer service for a returning customer who obviously wont be returning. By the way the company obviously also lost revenue that would have run into the thousands.

I was disappointed with this visit as… I was disappointed with this visit as the person who came for the inspection was half an hour late. The appointment was for 7am so I was awake and ready, but had to sit around waiting for him to turn up which he eventually came at 730. Last appointment I had the same person and he was also late and went to the wrong house. Previous to these two appointments, the person doing the inspections was always at my door at the specified time.

On Time, Thorough and same day Reporting - Wonderful Personal Touch and Efficient The office gave me a timely notice of when the inspector was next in my area and then worked with me to book in the ideal visit appointment. The technician arrived dead on time, performed the inspection thoroughly and quickly. I received the report via email on the same day of the inspection which showed how wonderfully efficient my local office operates. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful.

Very professional service Very professional service, particularly from the installer (Matthew Fowler), extremely thorough service was provided and Mat had a wealth of knowledge in his chosen field. I spoke beforehand with Paul who inspected my house and provided me with a pest treatment proposal and listened to my concerns that helped put me at ease with my particular pest problem. I mentioned that I would prefer they use the chemical brand Termidor HE to treat my perimeter for termites. This was a product that they were aware of , but did not generally use. They were happy to oblige my request and couldn't to enough to help.
