Canceled the first appointment 3 hours … Canceled the first appointment 3 hours after the window. The next day the technician arrived at my house and spent an hour chatting. He then proposed to snake my basement drain for $469.00! Reluctantly I agreed so I could get the job completed. He then said he didn’t have the proper equipment on his truck so he had to go back to the office and return. I canceled with the company and called another sewer company. They came out and completed the job for $180.00!

Disappointed I had high hope for Hope, since many people recommended them. I was warned they were expensive, but I was willing to accept that for good work. Totally disappointed. Not only did they miss three appointments (even after confirming multiple times on the third try), but they charged us over $200 to wrap appx. 6 feet of pipe. I checked our local hardware store, the wrap cost less than $5 for a 6-ft section. I will never use these people again.

Bad business tactics The plumber who came to our home Thomas. Didn’t examine our plumbing concern. He was suppose to look at our toilet and tell us why it was leaking from the bottom for our insurance claim. He said our toilet was leaking from the top but it wasn’t and isn’t. He finally told my husband on the phone the seal was probably broken but he wouldn’t write his findings on paper for our insurance claim. This plumber seemed to be more interested in finding other appliances in our home that might be faulty rather than doing what we asked him to do. He ended up raising the price we were originally quoted of 98.00 to 125.00 because he did exploratory work nobody asked him to do. This was not a good experience at all. After several attempts the manager called my husband to offer us our money back it never happened we ended up with a store credit that we will never use.

I needed some plumbing related issues … I needed some plumbing related issues with the commodes in the home to be addressed. The technician you sent was very professional and knowledgeable. I did not like the fact he recommended each commode to be completely updated. I had three to be repaired and the estimate came in at about $1,000. I knew how to fix the commodes but my time is valuable however this estimate was out of line. I went out bought the parts and repaired all three for about $18. I did have him put in a frost-free bib which I had a much lower estimate from a competitor of yours but Dana was so helpful I felt the need to give him some business. I will use your company if there are some hourly rates available verses set fees as if you are a doctor's office.

Might want to try somewhere else... Wanted to know if I had the instruction manual to help him figure out what was wrong with the water softener -he figured it out by calling tech support. Did not wear shoe covers. Seemed pretty sure he could not fix tub faucets - and indeed he could not. Told me that the new water pressure modulator he installed would only last about 5 years.
