AUDon’t use this POS! I used Vend for a few years and I was happy with the product until they decided to change to an all in one payments system. They were bullying clients to change from their own existing merchant facilities to Vends own payment system and if you don’t they penalise you with an added monthly charge on top of your monthly subscription. I complained and they wouldn’t reply to me after this. Then Vend automatically changed me a sign up fee of $150 without my consent. I have now left Vend and trying to get my $150 back which they had no right to take. Don’t use this POS!

GBTry calling the customer support… Try calling the customer support helpline, 0800 1337857, before you commit to anything, when they call you back two weeks later , that may give an idea of the level of service you'll get as a customer.The sales team funnily enough respond within 2 days! Actual system works ok , small bugs can take some time to get fixed bt as I said the level of support is totally terrible, for £89 a month you're on your own.

GBWorst support ever!! Worst support ever! How can a big company like VEND expect their clients to operate, when they cannot give any support when required???? I have tried to get support from 06th June, today is 19th June, and still nothing. All I keep getting is 'apology as we have been experiencing high volume of support enquiries.' SO MY BUSINESS IS NEGLECTED BECAUSE OF YOUR LACK OF MANPOWER?? This is seriously affecting my business and I am appalled by VEND!!

NZThe system cant seem to handle… The system cant seem to handle different retails prices that link through to product price barcodes. We are an outlet store for various brands and so we quite often have skus well below RRP. I would think many retailers would be in a similar position? They have been looking at an update for it for the last few years ie it isnot a priority apparently.

AUSince Vend has changed to Lightspeed it… Since Vend has changed to Lightspeed it has been a total nightmare. Being charged an extra $200 aud a month for not using their eft terminals, plus all of a sudden some sort of transaction fee which we had never had before. We are now forced to use their eft terminals as we are way too small a company to pay the additional $200 a month. I wish we could afford to go elsewhere but then there is the cost of new equipment which we cannot afford at this time. We are JUST hanging on financially. Thanks for nothing Lightspeed.
