Unethical at best Unethical at best. Used this mortgage company for two homes in the last 10 years and I will never use them again. Applied for a refi and Nila Csapo told me on the phone that I could get the "rate lock fee" refunded to me for any reason. A day later, I told her I was going with another company and they would not refund me the $635. I went to my bank and they sided with the mortgage company. Your lying and sketchy ways lost you another customer and earned you another 1 star review on as many sites as I can find.

There were no stones unturned There was always support and for any concerns there were solutions in a timely manner. They always made sure that I understood the paperwork needed and genuine concern to meet timelines.

stealing my escrow money Because of my veteran status I do not pay property taxes. I have been trying to get them to close my escrow account, especially before the next taxes are due knowing that theyll automatically get paid out. Freedom Mortgage states itll take them over a month to investigate this situation which means they're going to lose my money when they pay the taxes they're not supposed to and it'll be on me to play phone tag between them and the city to get the situation resolved. also I didnt choose Freedom Mortage, PHH transferred me to them.
