Deceptive Fee Structure After 1-Year Renewal Neptunes premium charges are deceptive. After the first year, you will be charged a $150 policy fee (which is odd, because there is no administrative cost for your auto-renewal). This fee is also considered to be ‘earned’ at the time of renewal; if you switch to a different provider without this fee, it will not be refunded as is required for the remaining premium. I don’t mind paying for quality services, but I mistrust companies that use disingenuous fee structures to pad their margins without delivering value in return.

Company arbitrary changes location and… Company arbitrary changes location and addresses of my property for both insurance policies I have. First one - they did moved the location marker from the real location 100 feet south, so it appeard in the floodzone, and raked insurance rate +60% Second one - they arbitrary changed the real postal address to an "apartment" in the neighbouring building.

We had Liberty Mutual insurance for… We had Liberty Mutual insurance for everything. Our house had to have flood insurance so I had liberty mutual and they quoted Almost $4,000 a year and that’s above our home owner’s insurance that we were already paying. I asked our neighbor we they had it through and they recommended Neptune. I looked them up online and got a quote and it was below $700. I was shocked. I would recommend Neptune to everyone.

According to the FEMA map According to the FEMA map, my house is not in a flood zone, but FEMA wanted a new updated survey done, so they told my mortgage company that I was in a flood zone, forcing me to either get a LOMA and pay for a survey, or get flood insurance. Fortunately Neptune only charged me 650 per year, that I had to pay out of pocket, the full amount, right away (no monthly payments). So I guess when you're getting screwed, everyone gets a turn, and Neptune was very good at it.
