GBI had a flood in my house two months… I had a flood in my house two months ago. They were fairly quick to settle the mitigation but I’ve been waiting weeks to get our estimate approved for build back. They’ve had all our estimates from our contractor but meanwhile we have lived with dust and three plastic walls. My husband has been sick for weeks with all the dust while we wait and wait. We have called and emailed almost every day and still it has not settled. We still wait. Maybe someday we will be able to get our house back in order. Frustrating.

GBWhenever I have had a problem Whenever I have had a problem, you guys have always helped me solve it. You’ve never made me feel like I was trying to get something over on you, which is a problem I have heard some of my friends talk about when they had flood damage in the basement.

GBEasy to make changes to policies and we… Easy to make changes to policies and we have only had a few times when we have had to request reimbursement for incidents, but it has always been easy to make contact with California Casualty and the results have always been great. We have been with California Casualty for more than 60 years.

GBClaim filed 3/5/24, still no action Claim filed 3/5/24. Repeated attempts to contact rep by repair shop to obtain estimate so work could commence unsuccessful. No voice mails or messages responded to. Finally had contact with rep on 3/19/24 approximately 11:45 CST - answered with promise to send copy of estimate to me and shop within a short time. As of 7:30 pm, still no copy of estimate received by me or shop. Needless to say, further calls have gone straight to voicemail. Repair shop has had my car for 2 weeks now and has been unable to begin repairs because of the lack of response by CalCas. As of 3/20, still no estimate and no contact from rep. Needless to say I don't think I'll be recommending this company.

GBCalled to report I was involved in an accident Called to report I was involved in a backing out accident in the parking lot of a local craft store. The initial Customer Service contact was very helpful and comforting in my state of anxiety. A report was taken and was told case would be assigned to another representative. I received an email from that person within a day or two, also very helpful with information on how to proceed. When the other party's insurance contacted me, I relayed the information to my representative and she took over from there.
