Said date of trip...well, I'm already here so just used midnight tonight until departure home. Talked to agent and they confirmed ok to buy while already in Thailand.

I received a response via text a week later saying they had an emergency and were unable to help me. Exact response was "I would suggest you look online for travel insurance.
