GBLeaving Clearcover after two years Had Clearcover for two years, zero claims. Yes, so inexpensive I bought the most expensive they had. Last week, I had a simple request "Can I save money?" I called in - 10 minute on hold, only to get a recording to leave a voice mail. Nice. Left a message "please call" No response. Emailed "please call" No response. I just cc'd the CEO Kyle Nakatsuji "My next call is to get another insurance company." Update - Now everyone is sorry after horse has left the barn. Client focus is an ounce of prevention...implement systems & processes in advance. Nobody is perfect but if you read my experience I gave’em THREE attempts. Judge the facts & evidence for yourself.

GBJust received a non-renewal notice for… Just received a non-renewal notice for failure to complete a questionnaire which I never received. I was told the questionnaire was mailed - this from a company which does everything online. The questionnaire never arrived in my mail box. I called immediately to ask that a new questionnaire be sent which I would gladly complete. Took them all of 10 minutes to reply via email that it was not possible. No explanation as to why it was not possible.

GBVery POOR Service I had Clearcover insurance for two years; my wife hit a deer, and we needed to file a claim. We took pictures to send in for the damages as they do not send anyone out to look at your vehicle. Then, you submit the claim, and they send you a check for what they think will cover the damages. However, when the body shop starts working on the vehicle and sees that they will need additional funds to cover the damage, they want to negotiate the amount of money they think they should receive. In the end, the adjuster, Alex Sharman, refused to pay the full amount. The body shop would not release the vehicle until I paid the difference. Clearcover also makes you pay for the rental car, and they will reimburse you. I had a rental car that was not comparable to what I had coverage for, so it was under the amount of rental coverage that I had on my vehicle, and they refused to reimburse me for the amount I spent on the rental car. I called five or six body shops in my area before I could find someone to take Clearcover insurance; now I understand why they will not accept Clearcover. Clearcover is a six-month policy, and every six months, they increased the rate by $200 to $300. I canceled this policy and I would not recommend Clearcover insurance. Thank you, Mike.

GBGeorge provided service above and… George provided service above and beyond. I had severe issues in getting my deductible back, it was going on for over 8 months. Once George got involved, he made sure everything was processed properly, he followed up every step of the way and kept me in the loop. He showed excellent communication, follow up and customer service skills that frankly are pretty hard to find these days. Big shout out to George and Thank you!

GBI received a non-renewal notice for… I received a non-renewal notice for failure to complete a questionnaire which I never received. A company that allows you to sign up and pay and do EVERYTHING on a mobile app. Suddenly needs you to mail something in to keep coverage? Makes no sense. I also never got a call or email about this. They're just trying to come up with BS reasons to drop as many non-preferred customers for whatever reasons, morally bankrupt company.
