GBGreedy, crooked, overpriced!! I have been with liberty mutual for 8 years. When I purchased my truck insurance was $181 a month. They have increased rates at 25-30% each year. They are crooks. I am a college graduate, good credit and have been driving for 30 yrs. I had one accident in 2016 and a perfect record otherwise. They are ridiculous, after this month I will never do business with these thieves, will never recommend them, and they are the greediest company I have ever done business with. Nothing impressive, overpriced, terrible customer service. STAY AWAY!!

GBMy policy number055943672-01 My adjuster was Cassandra Thompson, she brought in a third adjuster to help her deny my claim. Nonetheless, I sent her my documents, and each time, she claimed that she didn't get them. She even erased them from their online service. The stress from dealing with them made me have a stroke. Now I am being contacted by another third-party adjuster Christina Lickford, who claims that she is helping Cassandra too, I cannot go through this again

GBWe got a portable cabin shell and fixed… We got a portable cabin shell and fixed it up ourselves. added a closet, kitchen, electric, bathroom etc.... total cost around 40k. during this past winter we had a water line freeze and bust. Liberty Mutual's own mitagation team said that the sub floor was damaged beyond reapir and tha tthe cabin needed to be totaled. It was insured for 93K, Libirty Mutual's inital settlement was for 3K. and that took 3 months to get that number. I am in the process of contacting an attorney.........Never do business with this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GBAfter using Liberty Mutual for over 14… After using Liberty Mutual for over 14 years, we called and asked if we were eligible for any types of discounts because 1) my husband and I had just retired and 2) we never missed a payment nor ever put in a claim. We were told no. So, we decided to shop around and found a policy for three vehicles, a house, camper, and motorcycle for about $800 less. We called Liberty and told them we were going to cancel our policy; they, in turn, said that since we just paid for the month of March, we should wait until April 6th for the next billing cycle. So, we made the end date on the 6th. Lo and behold, we get a bill for $495.00, and after calling Liberty, we were told that we pay our insurance a month in arrears and because we live in North Carolina, they can charge us a cancellation fee. After going back and forth, we are still flabbergasted with how we are being treated. Our new insurance, Allstate, is also shocked that Liberty Mutual would do this. Buyers beware!

GBLiberty Mutual is trash, expensive and provides poor service. Company is absolute trash. Their insurance options are about the same as any company, and at first, their premiums seemed decent. After the first two years, they increased premiums by 40% (with no accidents, no policy issues whatsoever, no tickets) and auto renewed the policy. When I found out, I spoke to someone and they couldn't find a way to lower coverage, so I cancelled and went with Progressive, for better coverage that was about $100 cheaper per month. A month later, they claim I didn't cancel, and their supervisors on the phone pretend that I agreed to something I didn't. When I told them to listen to the call, she said she would have to escalate it but it wouldn't prove that I wouldn't have to pay unless I proved I had insurance with another company. She basically called me a liar, saying I didn't have insurance, and threatened me with going to collections. I emailed a long letter with proof of insurance on the same day I called. They haven't resolved the situation yet but this company is absolutely garbage. Just listen to customers, address their concerns, follow through with what you say you will do, and help customers the best that you can. Stop increasing prices for customers thinking we won't notice or care. You cannot justify increasing a car insurance premium by 40%, increasing total cost for over $1200, when the person had no changes to policy, no tickets, no claims or accidents. Geico, AllState, State Farm, and Progressive are superior in every way. Avoid this company, they are not worth the hassle and will absolutely take advantage of any situation they can.
