DO NOT INVEST WITH THIS COMPANY DO NOT INVEST WITH THIS COMPANY. They are egotistical jerks and border on scamming their investors. They provide you information and if you have questions regarding their processes/fees they get defensive. This is my experience, some others may have had better experiences, however as a novice investor this is not the company I will be doing business and suggest others stay away.

What an Incompetent Company. What a terrible experience. I mean terrible. Home Union is completely incompetent. From purchasing the home to managing the property, Home Union has made this experience a giant headache. Everything cost WAY more & took WAY longer than they projected. It took them 2 months to rent the place. When the tenants moved out a year later it took Home Union 45 DAYS just to tell me what the rehab cost would be. 45 DAYS of unnecessary vacancy! That's a loss of 10% of my properties annual earnings! My account manager Jeff Metz doesn't respond to emails for weeks at a time. And I just learned that Home Union is currently offloading their clients to other companies because they're getting so many complaints. What an incompetent company. Stay away.

Great experience so far! This is our first time investing in rental real estate. Gary Nguyen was very helpful in answering all of our questions, no matter how small. He really listened to what we wanted and customized our wishlist accordingly. But the best part was that when we found a property that we thought would be a good investment, he actually said "no, don't buy this" after the inspection report was completed. He then led us to another property and jumped on it so we wouldn't lose it - we are very pleased with our recent purchase and look forward to our first rental check and our next purchase.

Homeunion has a customer service and… Homeunion has a customer service and communication issue. They really don't communicate with you. They sold our account to another property management group and let our rental property insurance laspe. We've since found our own coverage happy to be away from Homeunion. A year later, we get a new insurance policy from an agent we never heard of. For whatever reason, Homeunion put in an application for a policy without our authorization even though we have no association with Homeunion for over a year. Check out their fees before you use them - they are exorbitant!

Great service. Wish I knew about it sooner. From initial inquiry to tenants moving in our experience as a first time investor was great. Everyone took the time to walk us through the process and make sure we understood the process. We went from a low single-digit 401k to a double-digit investment property. Now we're hooked and scrambling to save for our next property, and our next, and our next...
