I used to like this company but... I used to like this company as I purchased my first property through them. The remodeling of the house is finished on time and the house was rented out on the targeted rent quickly. I have been receiving monthly rent for almost 2 years. Things started to change on my second property with them. When I purchased the property, their sales said "they are quite familiar with the market and the house is in good condition". None of those proved to be true after I purchased the house. Here are some main points: 1. The house remodeling finished on April, yet they did not started market the house until June. They claimed it's their system problem. 2. Apparently they did one more remodeling for "Marketing purpose", for which I didn't receive any notice from them until the place is rented out on August. 3. After two times remodeling total cost 10k+, they rent out the place at much lower than we have expected. 4. Mr Jeff Metz, as my main contact with HomeUnion, who I used to work happily with, only respond to my questions weekly after my original email and several follow-up emails and calls. After I ask for compensation for the rent loss due to the poor performance of the marketing team, one month passed yet still not hearing any solution from him. As an investor, I am quite disappointed not recommend definitely.

The busy executive would appreciate the advantages of the friction being taken out or avoided in their day to day lives. You invest and let them do the rest and jump on the "one throat to choke" model to build some wealth to enjoy a better quality of life.

Finally a service that offered what I need Before I found HomeUnion, I avoided real estate investment for two reasons. First, I didn’t want to buy homes locally, where an economic downturn could wipe out the value of the homes (think southeast Michigan). I wanted to diversify regionally. Second, I wanted to actually own the property, so REITs (which can be well diversified) don’t appeal to me because I wouldn’t own anything but a paper note. HomeUnion solves this paradigm for me. Through their platform I invest with confidence across the country, AND I own every property in my portfolio. They also provide a huge amount of valuable analytics to help investors find properties to match their goals. I highly recommend their service to real estate investors.

Horrible Horrible ! We havent seen a dime for either rental property. Just fake expenses with no receipts and no one ever responds to emails or calls. Its a big black money hole

Homeunion has a customer service and… Homeunion has a customer service and communication issue. They really don't communicate with you. They sold our account to another property management group and let our rental property insurance laspe. We've since found our own coverage happy to be away from Homeunion. A year later, we get a new insurance policy from an agent we never heard of. For whatever reason, Homeunion put in an application for a policy without our authorization even though we have no association with Homeunion for over a year. Check out their fees before you use them - they are exorbitant!
